TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1.1 We are aware that we discuss information of sensitive nature in our sessions. Thus, we take confidentiality very seriously. All information shared in our sessions will be kept confidential and will not be shared to third parties, unless there is an instance where it is of absolute necessity (See Section 2).
1.2 In accordance with Dutch Law, we will keep treatment records for 15 years after the professional relationship has ended. You have the right to request access to your records at any point in time.
1.3 Treatment sessions will take place virtually, using software with end-to-end encryption. These will not be recorded.

2.1 There are a few instances in which we will override confidentiality. You will be informed before taking action. These include:
If we are obliged to do so by statutory provisions or a court order;
If doing so is the only and last resource to prevent a direct threat to yourself or others;
If it’s explicitly requested by you

3.1. Your sessions with Inside-Out Therapy are for the purpose of aiding you in achieving your defined treatment goals. We do not provide direct advice, but rather support you in the process. You are fully responsible for your own well-being during your treatment sessions, and subsequently, your choices and decisions.
3.2. We will not be held accountable for the consequences of your actions and/or decisions. We can only be held accountable for direct damage, or as a result of gross negligence.

Section 4: Professionality

4.1. We adhere to the principles of the Code of Ethics from the NIP (Netherlands Institute of Psychologists).

5.1. Inside-Out Therapy is a private practice and does not work directly with any insurance companies. As a result, you will pay privately for your treatment sessions. Payment responsibility lies on the client. Some international insurances may partially cover your treatment but we cannot ensure this is your case. You can contact your insurance for more information. Please keep in mind that Dutch insurance companies will not cover your treatment.
5.2. You will receive an invoice with the amount of the session within one week after the date. You must pay the full amount of the invoice within 14 days of receiving it.
5.3. If you fail to pay the total amount of the session within 14 days of receiving the invoice, you will be charged an interest of 10%. A reminder will be sent to you after the original deadline has passed. If you fail to pay within 14 days of the reminder, we will take debt collection measures.

6.1. You are allowed to cancel any individual appointment free of charge up to 24 hours in advance.
6.2. Cancellations after 24 hours before your session is due to start will be charged in full. This is also the case if you fail to show up to your session.

7.1. Contact is mainly held through email. We will try to answer your emails within three working days. We accept phone calls and/or text messages if necessary, however we cannot guarantee we will get back to you on time.
7.2. We encourage you to let us know if you have any comments and/or complaints regarding our work together. To do so, you can send us an email at info@inside-out-therapy.com or schedule a free of charge call with us.

8.1. We do not provide emergency services. If you are in a situation that requires immediate emergency care, we advise you to contact your general practitioner.

9.1. You are allowed to terminate our sessions at any time. We ask you to let us know in advance if this is the case, so we can bring our work to a smooth closure.
9.2. We will immediately terminate treatment if there is any use of aggression (including physical and verbal aggression) or threats to our safety. If this is the case, you will be fully charged for this final treatment session
