My Approach to Therapy

My practice is built on the foundation of trust and safety. In our work together, we will try to understand better why you are feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or lost, and we will develop strategies to soothe the pain and move forward. We will together examine and make sense of your past, relationships, and emotions while practising non-judgment and self-compassion. The most critical factor predicting therapy success is the client-therapist relationship. That is why I emphasise the importance of teamwork. I will help you formulate your therapy goals, but the goals will always reflect what YOU find important and want to achieve.
